Esta recopilación me parece magnifica ya que comprime en un solo disco los mejores temas de los mejores y más representativos productores de Jamaica y como lo dice el disco entre los años 1960 y 1969 que como todos ustedes saben grandes conocedores de la música jamaiquina, fue la transición entre lo que fueron los inicios del ska, pasando por el rocksteady y el origen del mencionado por muchos como early reggae.
En el disco aparecen artistas como Don Drummond & The Skatalites, The Melodians, The Ethiopians, Delroy Wilson, Bob Marley & The Wailers, etc.
En este disco hacen su aparición los productores Duke Reid, Coxsone Dodd, Sonia Pottinger, Joe Gibbs, Bunny Lee, Leslie Kong, y Lee Scratch Perry
